Web site traffic reports indicate more than seventy "Box Finders" visited the web site during what I now think of as "Found a Box Week." Here are the responses from visitors who filled out the form and shared their experience finding a box.

There were two incidents in which the police were called to investigate - one in Manchester, the other in West Pawlet.

Any additional personal comments: Met someone in downtown Benington, VT that had a similar box, but he had a notepad in his. Great conversational piece.

Any additional personal comments: I love the idea of this, but in this age of terrorism is it a wise project to undertake? It reminds me of those little boxes of "love" or "hugs".

What did you think when you first found the box? Can you briefly describe your initial reaction upon finding the box:As a State Trooper I wasn't too happy. I was called to a complaint of a suspicious package at a fuel station in West Pawlet. No one there had any idea as to what was in the package, why it was there, or who placed it there. In this day an age the suspicions of the public are warranted. Perhaps if you informed the public of your intentions they would have no cause for alarm. I suggest you contact me, Cpl. Can you briefly describe your initial reaction upon finding the box:I was sort of freaked out by the fact that a random box had been left in ladies restroom. I didn't know whether the box would contain something awfullike a kid's prankor some sort of gift.

What did the item make you think about: Yes I opened the box, and I was perplexed to find a used child's key chain. That certainly wasn't close to anything I imagined I would find. It was pretty random.
What did you do with the box afterward: I kept it and showed it to my friend Kristin. She was kind of weirded out.
